How to Easily Curb your Drinking
Our culture is kinda alcohol obsessed. A night out, a celebration with friends or family, and even professional networking is likely to include booze. It’s easy to overindulge in something when it’s everywhere. It’s difficult to refrain from something that everyone seems to be doing with complete abandon.
But it is possible.
If you’re worried you drink too much or know that you do, you may want to curb your drinking. Some of us will find this more difficult than others. Some people do need to completely abstain from alcohol for their health, mental wellbeing, and because they’re just all or nothing personalities. I get it and there’s no judgement here. Others of us should understand our drinking better to keep it within healthy limits, and it’s not as hard as it initially seems. Here’s how to curb your drinking for better health.
Don’t race
When it comes to a situation you know you’re going to drink in, take it easy. Sip your drink. For every alcoholic beverage you enjoy, have a non-alcoholic one like water, pop, or juice. Eat before you drink and while you’re drinking too. This will help you stop feeling inebriated so quickly and also naturally slow you down. Your liver will thank you for it in the morning.
